One of a kind Bowl.  This hand blown, and hand (stone wheel) carved Gold Ruby bowl is a unique piece of utilitarian art.
 
The bowl was assembled with three (3) different bubbles during the glass blowing.   Each bubble (clear, ruby, clear) was blown, measured, and hot assembled before being blown out and shaped to be a bowl.   A ruby 'lip/rim' wrap was added near the completion of the shaping.
 
After the bowl was cooled, the carving process was started.  The frame (above, and below the ruby mid section) was carved using a repetitive process called 'Battuto'.   The floral design in the middle of the piece was freehand carved and finished with several hours of polishing.  
 
Use this to impress your guests at you dinner table.  (suitable for any hot or cold food, No microwave, and hand wash)   Or, this could be a statement piece any where in home or office.
